Episode 3 of Rush Hour Comedy Radio Airs in 1 hour!

Hey, everyone, we have a very special treat for you tonight. A special tribute to Harold Ramis (which my comedy troupe and I wrote back in 2014), and also a tribute to one of our own members of the Rising Phoenix Comedy Troupe – Alan Goroff (Stage name Alan Cove).

(Sorry for the earlier error on the website…. I got confused and put Alan’s name as Alan Carr, because his wife’s (Terri) last name is Carr. (I’m friends with her, so YouTube, if you’re planning on taking down the video, please know that I have Terri’s permission.) I also have temporal lobe epilepsy and I’m constantly getting people’s names wrong! (Heck, I can’t even remember my own characters names that I wrote after spending months working on the screenplays! Lol.)

(Note: This episode was written by the Rising Phoenix Comedy Troupe in 2012 or 2013.)

Some of you may remember Alan as the singer who replaced Dion in Dion and The Belmonts, but he was also one of the Founding Members of The Rising Phoenix Comedy Troupe.

Alan also did stand-up comedy, too!….So talented!

Sadly, Alan died last year, but I was so very lucky to have him as a friend. And we were all so lucky that he chose to join the Rising Phoenix Comedy Troupe when he did, because he really brought my little writer’s group to life. He was such a kind man, and so generous with his time and comedy. I still miss his quick wit and kind words.

It was so much fun writing skits with Alan, too! (God…the laughter…. I can still remember all the laughter!) That was really a fun writers group. Alan, just know that you are still very, very much missed.
